Hydantoins/Omeprazole; Esomeprazole Interactions

How the interaction occurs:
When these two medicines are taken together, your body may not process your seizure medicine or your proton pump inhibitor properly.
What might happen:
The blood levels of your seizure medicine may increase and cause more side effects than expected. The blood levels of your proton pump inhibitor may decrease and it may not work as well.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you experience nausea, vomiting, confusion, dizziness, or other symptoms, contact your doctor. It may be necessary to check your blood levels more often or to change the dose of your medicine.Contact your healthcare provider if your proton pump inhibitor does not seem to be working as well for your stomach condition.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
