Balloon urethroplasty

[buh-loon yoo-ree-thruh-plah-stee]

Treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). During this nonsurgical procedure, an inflatable balloon is inserted into the prostate. When inflated, it relieves pressure on the urethra (the canal that carries urine outside the body) to improve urine flow.
